Nate really never has a bad attitude. There's been times when he's been uphappy with a situation, but he handles it extremely well. Me . . . . not so much. But I think the best way to deal with a bad attitude is to let them get it out of their system, don't react back, pray and do as God directs you from there. As for me, I'm working with Jesus to change it.
Again, this chapter's advice was worth the read.
Dear Jesus, fill Nathan with Your love and peace today. May there be a calmness, serenity, and sense of well being established in him because his life is God-controlled. Enable him to walk in his house with a clean and perfect heart. Shine the light of Your Spirit upon him and fill him with Your love. Give him a spirit of joy and help him to be content in every situation. Amen.
Philippians 4:6-7 (New International Version, ©2010)
6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Ezekiel 18:31 (New International Version, ©2010)
31 Rid yourselves of all the offenses you have committed, and get a new heart and a new spirit.
