His Finances

Giving or Miserly?
Thankful or Envious?
$ a blessing or a curse?
Wise or Reckless with $?
Do we agree on spending or have financial strife?
Financial irresponsibility? Lack of money? Huge Debt?

"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it." - Malachi 3:10

"Blessed are those who have regard for the weak;
   the LORD delivers them in times of trouble.
The LORD protects and preserves them—
   they are counted among the blessed in the land— " - Psalm 41:1-2

"those who seek the LORD lack no good thing." - Psalm 34:10

"Whoever shuts their ears to the cry of the poor
   will also cry out and not be answered." - Proverbs 21:13

"So many $ problems can be solved by putting all finances under God's covering and doing what He says to do with them."
-Giving when He says to give.
-Using your time, energy, love, talent, and finances according to His direction.

Sometime God uses finances to get our attention and teach us things, bu prayers will guard against unnecessary struggle and loss. God wants to bless those who have been obedient, grateful, and giving; who's true treasure is found in Him, not money.

     Dear Jesus, I pray that You help Nathan and I to understand Your will for our finances. Help us to be a giving couple who are content to live within our means. Help us to love the Giver more than the gift and remember that all we have is truly Yours. Help us also to be good stewards. Help us to agree on what to do with our money and pay off our debt as soon as possible. Where we have not been wise bring restoration and give us guidance. Jesus, show me where I can increase our income and save where I should. May Nathan's money not be stolen, lost, devoured, destroyed or wasted. Multiply it so it can go a long way and help us to not be anxious either way. Help us to seek You and Your kingdom first.

"He who gives to the poor will not lack, but he who hides his eyes will have many curses." - Proverbs 28:27
